Le G. Bistaki is a collective of jugglers / dancers who have come together to change their daily artistic and scenic lives by innovating in the way they research and perform. For its latest creation, Bel Horizon, it is surrounded by four dancers, actors and circus artists.
The essence of its mode of representation is its relationship to space: from a conventional theatre stage to the extra-mural, rural or industrial environment, in unusual places and even in strolling form, the Toulouse collective develops performances in situ and flourishes in close connection with the spatial and social characteristics of a place.
Taking the time necessary to use and transform a place, Le G. Bistaki makes the dreamlike dimension of the stage overflow and opens up the playing space, dressing the landscape with plastic installations where objects multiply and decline, where video and tableaux vivants become embedded. The environment, whether urban or rural, open or closed, is the theatre of its action.
