In this adaptation of The Baïna Trampa Fritz Fallen (created in 2015), G.Bistaki paints a grating, dreamlike and absurd social portrait of our contemporary world.
Dressed in white suits, armed with snow shovels, corn as food for thought, these four men invite us to cross places and times in an astonishing choreographic and musical journey. A timeless satire of our relationship with money and power, it shows the relational evolution of characters confronted with an abundant source of yellow gold… which will in turn lead them to pleasure, ecstasy, jealousy, and finally to their loss.
Neither entirely circus nor solely dance, the language of G.Bistaki is at the crossroads of the arts and claims the convergence of disciplines. The use of juggling, theatre or dance feeds a common language that gives rise to sometimes crazy, often absurd situations where derision and laughter prevail.
