In this world where everything is accelerating, condensing and merging, Le G. Bistaki quietly invites us to withdraw physically and mentally. To withdraw calmly towards a Bel Horizon (a Beautiful Horizon).
Vast, rich in revealed or unsuspected diversity, deserving of many detours, everything begins with a slow procession. Relying on ourselves and others: let us each take a vase and walk. One thing leads to another. Celebrations, mutualisations, fights and improbable articulations: the journey is rich in discoveries for those who stop and go again and again. Along the way, the meaning of things is modified… Staging vases and swords and using a circus and choreographic language, the eight performers of Bel Horizon plunge us into the heart of a great epic with hybrid poetry.
Much more than a show, Bel Horizon is an experience that draws its singularity from the way it is presented. Whether it takes place at daybreak or at nightfall, after a long walk or in the heart of the city, each performance is unique and questions the place of the artistic gesture, the interdependence of a work with its environment, the links between artists, audiences and the performance itself.
At the crossroads of juggling, dance and theatre, Le G.Bistaki disrupts our vision of what a performance is, our relationship with the space and with other spectators.
This freedom to browse at our leisure in the abundant universe of G.Bistaki allows us to create our own narrative.
The ultimate director is the public space.
