S’arrêter is an out-of-the-box event, an involved performance, a live show, a creative journey.
A creative path escapes from the everyday and risks enchantment. A participatory allegorical wandering in which we set ourselves in motion, our bodies and minds moving from the current to the pilgrimage, from the initiate to the enchanter. We escape, cards in our pockets, by the moon, by the sun. The images become signs, transforming the obvious into free translations. We divide the world into four parts. The personal speaks, the intimate becomes part of the equation. The answer does not appear immediately. We observe a detail, an image, an idea. We take a diversion to get back to basics. We will leave the world with simple words, to enchant the world
S’arrêter is a journey, built as a wander, for about thirty participants equipped with a walking stick, bringing them together in a creative assembly using the body and the imagination for a creative journey making a collective narrative. Using the dreamlike world of the Tarot de Marseille as a storytelling tool. Powerful and sensitive visuals, the images generate multiple interpretations giving rise to imagination, discussion and discernment, allowing free thoughts to be expressed and collected, joyfully rubbing up against the collective ritual.

At the heart of this project
The dream imagery of the Tarot de Marseille
The Tarot de Marseille officially has no rules of play. Mine are to make it a tool for collaborative, creative thinking, and to move away from its divinatory, superstitious, charlatan reputation…
As a story-generating tool, the common image generates multiple interpretations giving rise to discussion and discernment, allowing creative thoughts to be generated and collected.
